Kelley Jacobs
Rankings Editor
Kelley Jacobs is a Midwest native who wears many hats—cheer mom, animal enthusiast, and geocacher extraordinaire! She spends a significant amount of time shuttling her daughter to and from the gym, where she pours her heart into competitive All-Star cheerleading. She also enjoys spending time with her retired racing greyhound and spirited border collie.
As a first-generation college graduate, her own educational journey in the mid-1990s was a solo adventure filled with challenges. Armed with determination, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and dedicated nearly a decade to the social service field. Later, with a master’s degree in hand, she transitioned into program evaluation, specifically assessing professional development programs for childcare providers.
Over the past decade, she has transitioned her evaluation skills to the world of higher education. Her passion lies in helping potential and current college students navigate the sometimes overwhelming decision-making process. She knows firsthand the importance of making informed choices, and she’s made it her mission to share that knowledge.
