Collegiate choirs have a long and storied tradition in America. These ensembles were founded to provide music for religious services at campus churches. Later, the choirs not only provided songs of worship, but they were also used to promote school pride through college songs at sporting events and graduation ceremonies.

Soon, college choirs began touring around the U.S. and even the world. These talented groups would soon take on the role of musical ambassadors not only of their school but also of the nation.
